Coming out to your family and friends isn’t exactly a breeze . . . but if you had the help of DAVID HASSELHOFF, the process would be a lot more entertaining. And now that’s an actual possibility.
There’s an app called Celebrity Video Messages, which is one of those services that allows you to purchase brief, personalized messages from celebrities.
The creators say most of the messages are for things like: Birthdays . . . anniversaries . . . wishing someone “get well soon,” or “good luck” . . . and even marriage proposals.
But they expect that it could be used for more outside the box applications, like COMING OUT OF THE CLOSET.
About 40 celebrities are onboard this one, but most of them are British “stars,” whose names wouldn’t mean much to you. However, David Hasselhoff, who’s pretty huge in Europe, is in the mix . . . as is 79-year-old KENNY BAKER, the three-foot-eight actor who’s inside R2-D2 in the “Star Wars” movies.
The cost ranges anywhere from about $15 to $200, depending on the celebrity. “The Hoff” will set you back about $100. R2-D2 is just $17. For more info, hit up CelebVM.com. (And here’s a video demonstrating a little of what you get.)
